Ms. Denise Hinds-Jordan is a skilled financial sector professional with over 25 years of experience in financial regulation, development economics, and public policy. Currently acting in the role of Deputy CEO, her substantive role is that of Director, Supervision and Regulation. In this position, she is responsible for consolidated supervision and oversight of entities, products, and services in the Insurance, Securities, and Pensions sectors. She is secretary to the FSC’s Fintech Working Group and is intimately involved in the development of the fintech strategy for the non-bank financial sector.

This career regulator was previously a Consultant with the Securities Commission of the Bahamas and has served in varied regulatory positions with the Central Bank of Barbados.

She has significant training and experience in multiple areas of banking, insurance, and securities regulation and is intimately involved in policy development at the FSC.
