Born and raised in Seattle, Chris Cochran began his professional career as an on-air radio talent. Recognizing a need for leadership training, he transitioned to working with students and adults in churches and schools in Idaho and Washington.

In 2005, Cochran launched a daily podcast called “The Car Cast,” which was among the first 10,000 podcasts on the internet. He leveraged his experience in radio and podcasting to create a new media consulting company, later shifting to IT consulting, where he spent over 15 years, including roles as an executive in the consulting industry.

In 2015, Chris co-founded the economic development company Innovation Collective and relocated to North Idaho.

In 2021, Chris left IC to start his own consulting firm, Cochran Advisors, where he worked with municipalities, tribes, chambers of commerce, and startups. Chris is currently the Executive Director of Entrepreneurs Across Borders.
