Annie is a Private Sector Development specialist and Financial Inclusion expert with a Harvard MBA and 20 years of management consulting, entrepreneurial, and volunteer experience in over 50 countries. After four years at IDB leading a multi-million portfolio to stimulate innovation and productivity in the Caribbean, she helped different regional organisations drive digital transformation and resilience in the region. She currently works for the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) on improving access to digital financial services for MSMEs. Annie was invited to present her research and engage policy makers at the SIDS Global Business Network Forum during the 4th International Conference on SIDS in Antigua. She began her career in 2001 at Deloitte Consulting in Montréal as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and immigrated to Barbados in 2006.
